Helio High Rise Tower

The Helio tower is inspired by heliotropism, defined as the directional growth of a plant in response to light. The floor plates and core of the structure mimic the upward spiral growth pattern in which leaves naturally form about a central stem. The gardens follow the same growth pattern, ensuring direct daylight to spaces throughout the day.
This group project was part of the interdisciplinary Master's level Architecture Studio.
